CorleyOak Dun Dreaming (Belle)

Dun filly - d.o.b. 11.06.25

Sire: Pinglewood Tobemory

Dam: Shallowater India

We are so thrilled finally to have a stunning dun filly.  Belle is a real show stopper.  She is very forward and extremely fast on those long legs - just really beautiful, hence her field name Belle.

Above - check out Belle's gorgeous face.  On the right, she is pictured with her dam, Shallowater India. Belle is maturing rapidly. Like Gunner below, she was tucking into her Mum's feed within days and now demands her own bucket! She and Gunner have just been weaned and since they have each other, they have adapted extremely well, with no obvious concern.

The mares (Destiny and Indie) were moved to a different location with fresh grass. Neither of them looked back, whinnied or showed any concern about their missing offspring. it was more like "thank goodness for that!" as they got their heads down on the fresh grass!

CorleyOak Midnight Mariner (Gunner)
Bay colt - d.o.b. 09.05.25

Sire: Halstock Mariner
Dam: Wernfeilig Destiny

Gunner is a really well put together little chap - well - not so little compared to his dam.  He has chunked right out and appears to be turning black or extremely dark bay..  (check out the difference in the two pics above). He is very forward and lively.  We're very pleased with him. He has just been weaned with Belle above and took it all in his stride. He is not so keen on halter training though and we need to teach him that "walk on" does not mean "gallop on!"

CorleyOak Amethyst (Amy)
Buckskin roan filly - d.o.b. 13.06.24
Sore : Auric Tattoo
Dam: CorleyOak Silver Moonstone

Amy (above) is now a yearling and her coat colour is changing rapidly. She appears now to be a buckskin roan, but a lighter shade than her dam, Jewel. She is a little monkey - really naughty - just like her dam was as a youngster. Thankfully, Jewel has mellowed with age!

CorleyOak In your Dreams (Bambi)

Buckskin Filly - d.o.b. 26.05.23
Sire: Auric Tattoo

Dam: Shallowater India

New Paragraph

... and below is a very scruffy Destiny when she was out with the main herd.....

Hermits Crystal (Crystal)
Palomino tobiano filly - d.o.b. 06.06.23
Sire: Zago of Berry

Dam: Hermits Snowdrop
When Crystal came home from Worcester sales she was extremely fearful. She has since grown in confidence, having stayed at home with our standard pony Jugsy for company for a while. . She spent the summer out with the main herd but as she is so tiny (29"), she has just been brought home now to spend the winter here where she can get extra attention and more handling. The first time her feet were trimmed she nearly had a panic attack, but she is slowly getting to realise that we have no wish to kill her! She will be for sale at some point, but not until he is completely confident with being handled. She leads and loads well. We just need to improve on the catching, grooming and feet trimming, but we're getting there with her.

Windwillow Kerry Fiery Dawn (Pumpkin)
Chestnut mare - d.o.b.  06.04.17

Sire: Windwillow Bamboo
Dam: Kit-Kat of Brindister

We decided to keep the nickname her former owner gave her and Pumpkin is well named as she is orange and was very round, being in foal.   She used to be reluctant to be caught, but would do anything for food so that has now been overcome.   She is quite a character.

Sadly, poor Pumpkin slipped her foal during the harsh wet and windy winter of 2023.  She has had a good break before visiting a stallion this summer. She is MUCH prettier than the picture below ! We are hoping for a foal in 2026 and the way she is looking, if she isn't in foal, she has a weight issue!

CorleyOak Starlight (Star)
Black tobiano filly - d.o.b. 19.05.22
Sire: Auric Tattoo

Dam: CorleyOak Spotlight

Star is almost a complete clone of her dam, Topsy. she is a lovely, stocky filly and super friendly. Pictured below in November 2024, Star is scruffy and muddy (as she should be in the winter) but very well and happy.

This is a dreadful picture of Star who has grown into a lovely filly.  Note to self!  Get a better picture!

Shallowater India (Indie)

Blue dun tobiano filly - d.o.b. 06.05.18
Sire: Kirkstall King Alfred
Dam: Shallowater Princess

Here is Indie, pictured with her second foal, Belle.  Indie is a very proud and very attentive Mum.

Having presented us with a lovely buckskin foal (Bambi) in 2023, Indie had a year off before visiting a friend's stallion in July and August 2024.  Belle is the result!

CorleyOak Silver Moonstone (Jewel)

Buckskin roan mare - 24.05.14

Sire: Kerswell Legacy
Dam: Collytown Charisma

Jewel presented us with a carbon copy of herself on 14.06.24 in the shape of a gorgeous buckskin roan filly, CorleyOak Amethyst (Amy) so Jewel has produced two copies of herself, one male and one female.

Above is our Jewel at her first ever outing at County level where she was 4th in a class of 11. She has matured into a super, stocky pony. She has the best temperament ever and loves being with people. In the above picture she has lost almost all of her winter coat so her buckskin colouring and roan shows up. The one below shows her losing her winter colour which is when the roan really shows through.  The other image is Jewel in the winter when her coat colour is just a mucky brown hue!  We get at least three different looks per year.

Jewel first ran with our stallion in May/June 2021. She is a very feisty mare though so we didn't know if she would have proved too much of a challenge for such a junior stallion. However, he prevailed and Jewel produced a lovely buckskin roan colt foal who was named CorleyOak Midnight Blues (Blue).  She has subsequently had a gorgeous buckskin roan filly foal, CorleyOak Amethyst (Amy)
